I'd also invest in a matching camouflage checkbook cover. Ok, so maybe I wouldn't. Maybe a member of the armed forces would be better off with this type of checkbook cover. Now, I'm not saying that a camouflage anything is a bad idea. Hey, if you are into it, go for it. I'm just saying that is not on my list of priorities when shopping for checks.

What To Do If You Lose Your Checkbook

This means a few months after the theft a thief can come back and try to write a check again. My advice is have your bank cancel the checks and order a new set entirely.
